Google Shoots itself in the foot

Yes, Google has shot itself in the foot, hard.

With the latest google updates and algorithms, one cannot simply create keyword-targeted backlinks and get ranked higher. It seems google lowers a rank if too many of the links are targeted (like more than 10%). This would seem to be a good way to combat blackhat SEO, until you think about it.

My general SEO methods are pretty whitehat. I make a site/page/blog, link to a site I want to get a backlink for, then I ping it so google sees it. I'm creating original unique content, but now that's not enough. Now, several of my sites that I have ONLY used whitehat methods on are losing rankings big time, like from page one to page 10, and it's because I don't have enough untargeted backlinks. So, what would the solution be? Well, say my site has 500 well made white hat backlinks that are keyword targeted, to get the percentages about right I'd have to make 5000 untargeted backlinks. I have to create a large amount of untargeted content. Now, is this something that I'm going to do manually or am I just going to make low quality content with automated software and reap the benefits?

You spend $20 on a few backlink blasts with random and untargeted keywords and you benefit! So, the methods that used to work and were then stopped by google, such as huge scrapebox blasts getting you a page one spot really quickly, will now work again. As long as you already have the quality backlinks there, if your rank lowers blast the hell out of google with useless untargeted backlinks and you're good to go!

So, google has now made it so it is HARDER to do things the right way and MORE BENEFICIAL to use blackhat SEO methods. They've fkd up this time.
